ニュージーランド産りんご「ロイヤル・ガラ」の輸入 | The Import of NZ Royal Gala

ニュージーランドを拠点とする「フレシュコ」社のロイヤル・ガラを筆頭にリンゴを輸入する時期が始まりました。ロイヤル・ガラという品種は、コックス・オレンジ、ゴールデン・デリシャス、レッド・デリシャス等のハイブリッド品種で、香りが強く、酸味と甘みのバランスも良く、皮全体に赤い斑点があるのが特徴です。そのまま食べるのがおすすめのりんごです。また、シャキシャキとした食感と極上の甘さが特徴のニュージーランド産「ふじ」も来月以降に販売する予定です。

We are pleased to announce that our seasonal import from Freshco, New Zealand has officially begun with the arrival of freshly harvested Royal Gala apples. Its aromatic flavor and distinctive red fleck that spans the entire skin is absolutely superb for fresh use. It is long renowned to be one of the quick edible apples, as it is a cross-type from Cox's Orange, Golden Delicious, and Red Delicious varieties. Another new offering, New Zealand Fuji apples, is scheduled to arrive next month. It is recognized as the most appealing variety in Japan, thanks to its crispness and exceptionally savory flavor.
